About Oxford House > Volunteer

Volunteering remains at the heart of Oxford House today, just as it always has since our inception in 1884. We strongly believe in our volunteers, who, in their hard work and dedication, help to create and fortify a strong and caring relationship with our community. So, whether you want to ‘give something back’, learn a new skill, develop your CV, or get valuable work-related experience, then OH has an opportunity for you.

We are concentrating on Heritage volunteering opportunities at present. These include opportunities for a few hours a day (view our current volunteering opportunities on do-it.org), to longer, structured placements:

Whichever choice you make, know that by volunteering your time, energy and enthusiasm, you help OH to provide a fantastic community and arts space for our local community. We could not provide these services without the hard work, skills and experiences that our volunteers bring.
