What's On > Worryboy Exhibition
Jonah's friend Jamila often calls him "WorryBoy", because he worries about EVERY little thing! One night Jonah has an excruciating headache....and in the morning he wakes up with a humongous head!
Opening night: 10th June from 6pm to 9pm. Free entry!
With the help of Jamila and Dex, Jonah visits Professor Hakim, who seems to be the only one who can help him. It turns out that Jonah's fears and worries are alive in his head! Jonah has to travel inside his head to embark on an adventure and face his fears. Will he ever get out of his head?
The exhibition is presented by Elsbeth van der Poel as a giant storybook to walk through. Come take a look inside Jonah's head and follow his adventure!
Some brilliant and creative minds of Shaftesbury Park Primary, Hague Primary, Chisendale Primary and Jubilee Primary have been invited into the story and they created their own stunning artwork. The artworks of the children will be part of the exhibition!
"I have been blown away by the amazing work that Year 5 of Chisenhale and Year 6 of Hague Primary have created for the WorryBoy exhibition in 2 weeks. The Bethnal Green based schools have been invited into the story and explored their own worries as well as their own powerful imagination"
