We are on the hunt for local creatives to come and lead exciting activities for all ages here at Oxford House

Summer Festival Call Out For Creatives! Drawing, Craft, Dance, Upcycling and More...

At Oxford House we are getting ready for our exciting June relaunch and to kick things off with a bang we are organising a summer festival of performances, talks, meet-up and workshops, not to mention a new outdoor bar and eating area – Bethnal Green just keeps getting better and better, and Oxford House by Weaver’s Fields is WHERE IT’S AT!

Every Thursday throughout June, July and August there will be a “make and do” session – so we need brilliant ideas to fill each of these slots.

Successful applicants will receive a fee and spaces will be limited. However,  if you’re unlucky this time, fear not, there’s all sorts going on at Oxford House and so we’d love to hear from you all, get in touch.

These workshops are a fun opportunity for locals to get creative and try new things! We are looking for East London based artists and workshop leaders to cover areas including  drawing, craft, dance, upcycling, health, eco workshops and also some workshops that use outside space. Experience running workshops before is preferable but we are happy to hear from everybody who is passionate about creativity and supporting others in developing their creative skills.

Email your idea to info@oxfordhouse.org.uk  Please outline who you are, what your workshop or activity idea is called, your past experience leading sessions and how you would fill an hour or two hour slot with your workshop. It would also be helpful to know what materials are involved, so that we can think about the set-up, accessibility and any tech equipment.

We cannot wait to hear from you and please do spread the news.
