Pride of Place

During 2011 the Oh! Gallery wants to commission a variety of exhibitions. Our first theme will be Pride of Place.

This exhibition will celebrate and highlight positive aspects of the East End. Our aim is to produce an artistically diverse and high quality showcase of work which explores places in East London. Specifically, we aim to:

• Create an interesting and enlightened show in which to discover the hidden treasures of the East End
• Encourage positive thinking and different ways of looking at the local environment
• Connect with people living and working in the area, through celebrating the history and future of Bethnal Green
• Offer opportunities for people to participate in arts activities and education events
