VIA: Call-Out for all artists!

Travelling through (a place) en route to a destination

Calling all creative minds, we are inviting you to take part in our June exhibition, ‘VIA’, at Oxford House in Bethnal Green. Oxford House (OH) is an arts, community and heritage space in the heart of London’s East End. Our vision at Oxford House Gallery is to create and celebrate arts by working with the overwhelming creative talent in London.

Each artist will create work based around the idea of ‘travel’, what it means to them, and how they travel in their own life. The work can also deal with issues such as, the obstacles to travelling, or travelling different ways and society’s perception of travel.
Express what travelling is to you through your medium of choice. (Unfortunately due to lack of space we will not be able to accept sculpture or performing arts.)

Work will be displayed in Oxford House Gallery from the 12th – 28th June 2015.

• Register your interest in the exhibition by completing and returning the exhibition proposal form by 5 pm on 12th May 2015.
• We will review your proposal and confirm applications by 26th May 2015.
• All work will need to be submitted to Oxford house by 8th June 2015

Applicants will be charged a submission fee of £20 per artwork, only if their work is accepted (Maximum 2 pieces per artist) and 10% commission on any work sold. Please email the application proposal form with images of your work to anna.morales@oxfordhouse.org.uk and shahnaze.faneker@oxfordhouse.org.uk
