This exciting event includes a panel discussion with the designers where they discuss their work, journey, craft, making strategies, and sustainability. The discussion will be followed by a fashion exhibition showcasing the designers’ work in order to express their creativity, skills, and designs. At the event, their collections will be on display, and attendees will be able to talk with the designers and purchase their work. Panelists include Hafza Yusuf, textile design artist Hafza studio, Sagal Jama, a beauty business based in the UK that is inspired by the age-old beauty traditions of Somali women. Nafiso Adan is a founder of Aqal brand offering everyday pieces prioritizing comfort, style, and sustainability, designed with eco-friendly materials. Sulleqa is Fashion designer/Entrepreneur and the founder of Osomodest a modest fashion brand providing both Islamic & cultural clothes in the west from Somali bridal Diracs&Baati’s to Abaya’s & Khamis’s.

Host: Hanna Adan is a producer who works across a number of mediums. In the world of audio, she produced and presented the BBC sounds podcast ‘The Museum of Bad Vibes’ TDS and more.
