This June we’re screening 20 Feet from Stardom, an Oscar winning music documentary shining the spotlight on the untold stories behind some of the greatest musical hits of the 21st century. Joyous and heart-breaking in equal measure, the film is both a tribute to the unsung talents who brought shape and style to popular music and a reflection on the conflicts, sacrifices and rewards of a career spent singing in the shadows of the stars.

20 Feet from Stardom is a  celebration of the unknown voices behind music’s most recognisable hits. Directed by award winning film maker Morgan Neville, the film features Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, Lisa Fischer, Claudia Lennear, Judith Hill, Tata Vega, Sheryl Crow, Mick Jagger, Bette Midler, Bruce Springstein, Sting, Stevie Wonder and many other musicians and singers.
