LGA’s visits to Care Homes

We are very proud to feature the photos found below, and the videos of a new project we have been developing at The Lisa Gilbert Academy of Ballet (LGA).

The LGA has been running for nearly nine years and we have achieved great success through the hard work of our pupils. Watching the children learn each week in their classes and through the years has been very rewarding. It is wonderful to see the children grow and attain such high standards.

I have taken such pleasure in seeing the children’s achievements, and admired the commitment of both parents and staff and felt moved to put back into the community some of the benefits I see in the hard work of all involved at the LGA.

This term, we have visited Care Homes in and around London and Essex and will continue to do so. These visits were to try and bring the joy we feel through the performing arts and dance, to the residents. (Watch Video # 1 / Watch Video # 2).

You can see the photos of our first ‘Tea Dance’ at a beautiful home in Loughton. I would like to thank you, Miss Clarke, Linda, Natasha, Gabby and Honor for all their hard work in making it such a success.
