Choreography in Community Contexts is a one-day open course led by Fergus Early, one of the country’s most experienced community choreographers, and presented by Green Candle Dance Company.
Taking place at Oxford House, Bethnal Green on Saturday 10th October, the workshop invites participants to explore the possibilities of choreography in community settings – from stories and steps to spectacles, characters and all those wonderful, unexpected ideas in between.
The day offers a practical and playful space to experiment with different approaches to creating choreography, encouraging participants to try out ideas, take risks and discover what is possible when dance is developed in a community context.
