A rainbow has become such an important image in the world we live in. In this workshop, suitable for families with children aged (7-12 years old), we will be slowing down and creating bright, hopeful rainbows on fabric using ribbon and/or tapestry yarn. You will be guided through the process from preparing the fabric in an embroidery hoop ready for stitching, to finishing the piece ready to display. Children, with help from their adults, will be taught 1 or 2 basic embroidery stitches using blunt needles. Each family will work on one hoop together and  leave with either a work in progress to be finished at home or one finished rainbow.
