Come sketch and connect at this FREE weekly art club, hosted by Sketch Appeal!

At these friendly and informal sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to experiment with a range of materials, prompts and creative approaches – plenty of things to play with! The focus is on portraiture because we believe in – and have proved – its power to connect, empower and uplift people!

These are not ‘serious’ art classes and we don’t teach technicalities – this is all about sharing perspectives and experiences, and creating for the JOY of it. This an open-hearted, open-minded space for you to be express yourself, be yourself, and to feel the support of your community.

Please note: These sessions take place within the cafe at Oxford House, so expect some hustle and bustle – though it’s a fairly quiet crowd and there’s no banging music!

Open to all local residents aged 18+
Oxford House is accessible by wheelchair and there is an accessible toilet.

Suitable for all levels of creative experience – including those who think they “can’t draw”!
