SlideFest Local brings together participants from Reframing the East End to share their photography and the stories behind their work.

Taking place at Oxford House on Wednesday 23rd September, the evening will feature a series of short presentations followed by Q&As, giving participants an opportunity to reflect on photography created through the project alongside their wider artistic practices.

SlideFest began in Dubai in 2009 and has since travelled through galleries, festivals, arts centres and university halls. Inspired by the long-running format of photographers sharing the stories, ideas and experiences behind their images, this local edition creates a space for the emerging photographers, of the Reframing the East End project, to present their work in their own words.

Taking place at Oxford House, the evening celebrates the diverse creative voices of the East End, offering audiences the opportunity to discover new artists, gain a closer insight into their photography, whilst supporting and connecting with the emerging photographers involved in Reframing the East End.
