Share your Talent is a  special collaborative event curated by Kayd Somali Arts & Culture at Oxford House. This is an event showcasing the next generation of British Somali artists across visual arts, music, dance, poetry and literature.

Showcases from artist Ayouni Hassan and  Mohamed Mohamud’s latest photography book Somali Sideways: 

Poets and spoken word artists Sagal Farah, Ahmed Diria and Ibrahim Hirsi.

Traditional Somali dance and poetry from Canab Cuud Buranbuur Group.

Through the Lens Programme

Oxford House has commissioned this project as part of our two-year heritage programme Through the Lens.  This event forms part of a project inspired by our ongoing research into Oxford House’s historic and ongoing relationship with local Somali communities and their contribution to life at Oxford House. Inspired by our ‘Somali Cafe’ in the 1990s and the extraordinary creativity of this community – this launch event is a showcase of the next generation of young artist and creatives.
