Become a Charity Trustee in Bethnal Green
Oxford House is looking for new trustees to help guide one of East London’s most distinctive community, arts and heritage spaces. Based in Bethnal Green, Oxford House brings people together through creativity, culture, heritage and social action. We are home to artists, local groups, resident organisations, audiences, café visitors and neighbours. This is an exciting time to join our Board as we grow our arts, heritage and community work and plan for the future.
We’re looking for new trustees You do not need previous trustee experience. We are looking for people who care about our mission, bring good judgement and want Oxford House to thrive. We are especially keen to hear from people who reflect the communities we serve, including Asian, Black and Global Majority people, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
You will have a local connection to Bethnal Green and Tower Hamlets, OR with experience in one of the following:
- Digital (incl marketing and communications).
- Property/operations expertise (esp. historic buildings).
- Finance

You will support our small team, help guide our strategy and play a key role in keeping Oxford House ambitious, inclusive and rooted in its community.
