Join us for a night of 1970s tunes, discussion and performances curated by musician, writer and East Ender Suresh Singh, aka The Cockney Sikh. Suresh was born in Spitalfields and his family lived in the same house on Princelet Street for over 70 years. He became the first Punjabi punk, playing drums for Spizzenergi and touring with Siouxsie & the Banshees in the 70s and 80s. Suresh will be curating a special night of music, readings, archive about growing up in the East End.

This event forms part of our History House programme – at special project celebrating Oxford House’s 140th anniversary and East London’s extraordinary history.
